Anton De Guglielmo
He is an actor and performer who has embarked on a multifaceted artistic journey, ranging from theater to circus performance arts in search of a unique, synthesized narrative language.
Initially training with the Abraxa Teatro company, where he focused on physical expressiveness, he explored street circus arts such as juggling, fire juggling, and stilt dancing through various projects and workshops with numerous instructors—including Mamadou Dioume and Jacob Olesen. This path eventually led him to contact improvisation and the acrobatic discipline of vertical dance.
Since 2014, he has been an active collaborator in the major productions of the circus-theater company Materiaviva. In 2019, he debuted at the Romaeuropa Festival with the company Tropico del Circo, and since 2016, he has been a co-founder of DuoEsperanto.
